Golf: Sebastian just one shot behind top spot

Young Gibraltarian Golfer Sebastian Desoisa has come second in the Under 9 Category of the European Golf Championships with just one point behind the winner. The three day competition held in Gullane in Scotland saw some 70 competitors from around 20 countries.

Speaking after the tournament, Sebastian, told the Chronicle he felt very good for having finished runner-up and just one shot-off the leader.

“It was a very close finish. I hope I have made Gibraltar proud again,” he said.

Minister for Sport Steven Linares has congratulated Sebastian for his efforts and excellent result.
