HM Customs Tobacco Seizures

Customs Officers intercepted a locally registered vehicle loaded with tobacco in the area of Emerson's place in the early hours of yesterday.
The occupant of the vehicle was able to make good his escape, leaving behind the vehicle and 550 cartons of cigarettes.
In another recent case, Customs were also involved in a high speed chase in the area of Devil’s Tower Road resulting in the seizure of a locally registered vehicle and 750 cartons of cigarettes.
Investigations into both incidents continue.
