The Spanish aircraft carrier Príncipe de Asturias was towed through the Strait of Gibraltar earlier today on her way to be recycled at a shipbreaking in Turkey.
The ship was officially decommissioned in February 2013.
Local photographer David Parody captured the moment she went past as the cruise ship Columbus was arriving into Gibraltar.
