St Joseph and Europa both out of Europa League

Both Europa FC and St Joseph FC were defeated this evening in their respective second leg matches of the first round of the Europa League.
Europa were defeated by Leiga Warsaw after ending the match with just ten players following a sending off. Leiga took an early 2-0 lead before securing their victory by 3-0 in front of their home crowd, having seen their first leg held to a 0-0 by Europa last week.
St Joseph, playing at Ibrox arrived in Scotland already expecting to depart early from the Europa League after last week’s 4-0 defeat at the Victoria Stadium.
St Joseph fell further behind after a goal in just the second minute of the match started Rangers off in a positive path. A second goal at the end of the first ha;f, along with four further goals in the second half saw St Joseph losing 6-0.
Only Lincoln Red Imps remain in European competitions. Next week they face Ararat in the second round of the Europa League as part of the Champions path in which they face sides who have dropped out from the Champions League.
