Stamps for the UNESCO Gorham’s Cave Complex

A special set of stamps was issued this week as part of the celebrations of the inauguration of the UNESCO Gorham's Cave Complex. The Gibraltar Philatelic Bureau issued a set of five stamps commemorating the achievement which granted World Heritage status to the complex. The Set of stamps were prepared in collaboration with The Gibraltar Museum, and feature photographs taken by Stewart Finlayson depicting; Moonrise at Gorham’s Cave, Gorham’s Cave excavation, a view from the sea, the Gibraltar Neanderthals and the Neanderthal engraving.
