Visit to Young Art Exhibition

Governor, Lieutenant General Edward Davis and Mrs Davis recently visited the 2016 Young Art Exhibition currently being held at the John Mackintosh Hall. On their arrival, they were met by Gibraltar Cultural Services CEO Yvette Zarb and GCS Directors, Angela Bula, Yolanda Pilcher and Seamus Byrne. HE and Mrs Davis were shown around the galleries and given a briefing on the history of the exhibition. It was also emphasised how the Young Art Exhibition is part of promoting and fostering Fine Arts amongst our youth and how it also plays an important role in supporting other annual exhibitions organised by GCS, on behalf of the Ministry of Culture, such as the Spring Visual Arts and the International Art competitions.
