Prior Park reports 100% GCSE pass rate
Prior Park Gibraltar has reported a 100% GCSE pass rate, with more than half of grades awarded at 9-7.
The school said 53% of grades were at 9-7, while 32% were at grades 9-8 and 89% were at grades 9-4.
It compared the latter figure with a UK national rate of 67.1%.
Prior Park also said 22% of students achieved grades between 7-9 across all their subjects.
In the core subjects, 63% of English grades and 50% of Maths grades were at 9-7.
The school also highlighted what it described as the cohort’s value-added performance, which measures results against external forecasts set by the Fischer Family Trust.

Prior Park said its value-added score of 0.53 meant that, on average, five in every 10 grades achieved were above FFT predictions.
Headteacher Paul Martyn said: “While headline data is important, what matters most are the individual stories behind these results.”
“This is why we are deeply proud that our students not only achieve excellent grades but also consistently outperform their peers of a similar ability studying elsewhere.”
“These results reflect young people at Prior Park Gibraltar truly maximising their potential.”
He added: “These results are a wonderful achievement for our students.”
“They are a testament to their hard work, the support of our dedicated teaching staff, and the encouragement of families.”
“These results build on a trend of continuous improvement at both GCSE and A Level, ensuring students are exceptionally well-prepared for the challenges of Sixth Form and beyond.”
“At Prior Park, we believe that when students are nurtured as individuals and supported to thrive, academic success naturally follows.”
