Police Commissioner extends retirement date

The Commissioner of Police, Eddie Yome, has been asked to remain in his post beyond his normal retirement date of April 2017.
The Commissioner has accepted although his new retirement date has yet to be agreed.
In a joint statement the Gibraltar Government and the Gibraltar Police Authority said they are grateful to Commissioner Yome for extending his service.
