Adoration in ‘Mercy’ year

As part of the Jubilee Year of Mercy the church throughout the world has been holding a 24 hour adoration since yesterday midday.

A call from Pope Francis to hold ‘24 hours for the Lord’ has seen the Diocese of Gibraltar join in this Jubilee of Mercy year with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament which began at midday Mass yesterday and which finishes today at the 12.25pm Mass at the Cathedral of St Mary the Crowned.

All day and all night there has been an ‘Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament’ at the Lourdes Chapel.
