Advantage Insurance’s charitable drive benefits three local charities
Three local charities received more than £2,000 raised at a charity quiz night hosted by Advantage Insurance.
The Gibraltar Dialysis Patients and Friends Association, Parent and Child Society and the Gibraltar Dyslexia Support Group received a cheque for £700 each.
Steve Mumford, chief operating officer at Advantage Insurance, said: “We at Advantage are very keen on supporting the community and consider it one of our four pillars of how the company is run.”
He said that although Advantage Insurance has raised money for larger charities in the past, this year they chose smaller charities “that go under the radar and as a result find it difficult to raise money”.
“We therefore decided to create an event that supported exactly those sorts of organisations who all do vital work in our local community,” Mr Mumford added.
