British comedian dips into politics ahead of cave show

British comedian Mark Steele yesterday hinted at some of the material he has collected for his personalised comedy routine on Gibraltar, telling reporters: “I quite like the sound of a politician who swears in parliament.”

Mr Steele will record the final episode in his latest series of ‘Mark Steele’s In Town’ for BBC Radio 4 at a show in St Michael’s Cave tomorrow night.

In the radio series, Mr Steele visits towns across the UK and creates a customs stand-up routine for each local audience based on what he finds out about each area.
