Gibraltar celebrates Chinese New Year

Gibraltar celebrated, for the first time ever yesterday, the Chinese New Year with a lion dance outside City Hall and a parade up Main Street.
Two lions one bright yellow and the other deep red danced and wowed the crowds while three men played traditional Chinese music, marking the year of the monkey.
The celebrations came as the Gibraltar Government announced plans to strengthen its cultural and commercial links with China.
