GIBRALTAR TO MOROCCO RALLY

Over 40 yachts sailed from the Rock yesterday on the annual 16th Gibraltar to Morocco Smir rally. The yachts set sail at 1pm from the starting line at the western side of the runway. Some 250 people make up the crews this year with one fifth of the boats participating locally owned. The rally hopes to raise funds for the Red Cross. Pic: Johnny Bugeja.
