Govt files EIA for Eastside development

The Gibraltar Government is applying to the Town Planner for an Environmental Impact Assessment certificate for its planned affordable housing development Hassan Centenary Terraces on the Eastside.

The application states that in addition to the creation of 665 residential units over six blocks there will be 700 car parking spaces and 250 motorcycle bays.

The public can inspect copies of the application and plans as well as the Environmental Statement at the Town Planners office in Europort until Friday January 11. The date of the application which appeared in yesterday’s Gazette is December 20.
