GWA give their support to the ‘IN’ campaign

The Gibraltar Women’s Association committee has confirmed its support for the initiative taken by the ‘IN’ campaign. Yesterday it called on all its members to vote to remain in the EU.

In a statement the GWA said it wanted to encourage its members to exercise their democratic right to vote in the referendum on 23rd June to decide whether Britain should leave or remain in the European Union.  

“Members’ can check if they are eligible to vote by going to the In Campaign premises at 243 Main Street. Members can also get more information on voting by proxy. The organisers of the campaign are looking for volunteers to support the campaign in a number of ways,” said the statement.
