Local business stamps its mark for Gib’s entrepreneurial spirit

Local business World Online Philatelic Agency (WOPA) has just signed a deal with its 40th postal administration and is seeking more staff members to expand its business.

In fact, it is doing so well that Neil Costa, Minister for Business and Employment called Managing Director Glendon Martinez and team members Kylie Valarino and Stefano Blanca to his office yesterday to express his delight and commend them on WOPO’s continuing success.

He said: “First of all I would like to congratulate Glendon and his team for their excellent work. WOPA is a perfect example of a successfully established and growing startup.”

“I am sure the entire community will want to wish them well as they grow their business and employ even more persons. As I never tire of saying, small businesses are the backbone of our economy,” he added.
