Lottery stars pick up top prize

Shop staff at Star of India had quite the morning after they found out they had won half of the Gibraltar Government Lottery first prize of £200,000.
The staff were overjoyed, celebrating and holding up the winning numbers while passers-by looked on in surprise.
The winnings will be shared out between 19 members of staff, with each person estimated to receive £5,300. Shop assistant Alison Moreno was shocked and said: “I just couldn’t believe it. I was the one who saw the numbers. I double checked, triple checked and I still couldn’t believe it.”
