Mario Finlayson, doyen of Gibraltar’s art world, dies aged 92

Mario Finlayson, the doyen of Gibraltar’s art world and a defining influence in this community’s cultural life spanning generations, has died this morning. He was 92.
The Gibraltar Cultural Services expressing its condolences to the Finlayson family, said: “Today our cultural community has lost one of its greatest maestros.”
