Pavement collapses under weight of lorry

A section of pavement on Rosia Road collapsed on Friday morning under the weight of a lorry that had parked on the pavement to offload temporary traffic lights and a generator.
No one was hurt in the incident and a crane was later used to lift the lorry out of the hole.
Officials are investigating the cause of the collapse and on Friday were making arrangements to have the hole filled in again.
