Urgent appeal for Cavalcade participation in 60th year

As the Three Kings Cavalcade prepares to celebrate its 60th anniversary in January the committee has issued an urgent appeal to all in Gibraltar to help make this special year a success by joining in the event. With just six floats having confirmed participation the committee has felt the need to call on all groups, associations, sports, cultural bodies, housing estates and even groups of friends to participate in this special year.

“We urgently calls on these entities,” said a statement from the organising committee.

“It is imperative that as a community we make this 60th anniversary cavalcade a memorable one, both for those thousands who line Main Street as well as for those who participate.”

The Three Kings Cavalcade is the first event of Gibraltar’s social calendar after the New Year’s festivities, which is enjoyed by young and adults alike and next year will take place on Thursday 5 January.
