Water fun for ‘stay and play’ youngsters

Children splashed around in the last Stay and Play swimming class yesterday as the Summer Sports and Leisure Programme approaches its end.

The Stay and Play programme will officially close next Wednesday but the swimming classes will no longer continue this year.

The annual programme organised by the Gibraltar Sports and Leisure Authority was a success with around 15 children attending each class.

The Stay and Play programme is geared towards children with disabilities and ensures each child is looked after on a one-to-one basis.

The children aged between five and 16 thoroughly enjoyed their final swimming session at the GSLA Accessible swimming pool.
