Wobbles donation to help provide therapy for Jay

Jay, a five-year-old boy with severe autism will be able to attend much needed therapy thanks to a £4,000 donation from Wobbles. This marks the charity’s biggest donation of the year. Founders Frankie Hatton and Debbie Garcia and Patron Justin Picardo presented the cheque totalling £4,494.84 to Jay’s mother and father Katharine Hanglin and Jason Richie.

“Every year we donate a large sum of money to a ‘wish’ and Katharine approached us for therapy in the UK for her son as it costs a lot of money,” Mr Hatton said.

“We decided this was a worthy cause and we are sending them for this therapy for Jay. We have been really pleased to be able to help the family.”

With the funds donated the family can now go to Kent where Jay will be able to receive specialist treatment. The 12 day treatment includes speech, occupational and neurofeedback therapy.
