Women's futsal league to be played at Special Olympics Sports Complex

The Gibraltar FA have announced that the Gibraltar FA's 2020 Women’s Futsal League will kicks off on the 17th March.
Matches will be held at the new Special Olympics Sports Complex on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. This being among the first of the core sports which will be using the new facilities. The use of the Special Olympics Sports complex will allow for a decongestion of allocations for the main sports halls whilst the new facilities come into use this Spring.
The league will be open, meaning new team and players, irrespective of ability, can register to play. (Squads need to be made up of 6-12 players.)
With the UEFA Futsal Euro Qualifier group matches due to be hosted in Gibraltar this coming May the women's futsal league provides an added incentive for young players who could be bidding to find a spot in the final selection which will be representing Gibraltar against Belgium and Kazakhstan in May.
Anyone interested in entering a team or any individual players who wish to join a team should contact our Women's Football Manager, Laura McGinn, by no later than the 11th March, via email: laura.mcginn@gibraltarfa.com
