Affordable art 'bringing art to people'

Affordable Art, an exhibition by the Fine Arts Association, continues until the end of the month at the Fine Art Gallery.

"Bringing art to people" is what this third edition of affordable art is all about - and you can still buy local art as the exhibition has been extended to the end of the month.

"People have woken up to the idea that they can purchase original art and give it as a present. This is one of the reason why we do this but art has been bought locally as Christmas presents and this is important," says Paul Cosquieri, president of the Fine Arts Association.

Mr Cosquieri acknowledges the idea of giving art as presents will take time and the ones that sell are those related to Gibraltar.
