Annual international dog shows will see 1,000 entries

1,000 dogs are expected to participate in Gibraltar’s annual international dog shows this weekend. The shows are organised by the Gibraltar Kennel Club and will be held at the Tercentenary Hall and Bayside Sports complex.

These will be the GKC’s 44th and 45th International Dog Shows held under FCI regulation, of which Gibraltar became a full member in 2013.

Both Saturday and Sunday will have a 9am start.

The judging panel this year is made up of FCI International Judges from Brazil, UK, Cyprus, Sweden, Portugal, Belgium, Netherlands and Gibraltar.

The dogs entered in the show will mainly be from Portugal and Spain as well as Gibraltar.
