Bet365 scoops top operator award

Gibraltar-based gaming company bet365 won the online Sports Betting Operator of the Year at the annual online awards of the EGR (eGaming Review) magazine, held in London last week.

The award, which was sponsored by Gibtelecom, was presented to Jon Moss, the company’s Head of International Business Development (pictured in the centre), by Gibtelecom’s CEO, Tim Bristow (left).

The evening event, with over 20 awards made, was held at the Artillery Garden at the HAC in the City of London with the several hundred guests being hosted by the comedian, Jason Manford.

“The company’s sponsorship of the EGR awards is a way of putting something back into an industry sector which is very important to Gibtelecom and Gibraltar,” Mr Bristow said.

“It is particularly pleasing the online sports operator award went to Bet365, a business with a substantial base in Gibraltar,  and or the second year running and against some really tough competition.”
