Boca Juniors Gibraltar no longer to play in Domestic League
Following the latest announcement by Boca Juniors Gibraltar that they will not be fulfilling this evenings match against Europa the Gibraltar FA have removed the club’s domestic license.
In a statement issued today the Gibraltar FA state, “ The Gibraltar FA regrets to inform that FC Boca Juniors Gibraltar have today advised that they will not be fulfilling their National League fixture versus Europa FC this evening, which was scheduled to kick off at 8pm at the Victoria Stadium.”
‘As this now becomes the second fixture FC Boca Juniors Gibraltar fail to fulfil this season, the Gibraltar FA has had to invoke rule 136 of the Gibraltar FA Disciplinary Regulations, and revoked their Domestic License with immediate effect. As such, the Club will no longer be permitted to participate in Gibraltar FA Football Competitions.”
“Additionally, in accordance with Rule 9.3 of the League Rules, all points acquired and goals scored and conceded by other teams against FC Boca Juniors Gibraltar will be removed.”

The latest forfeit becomes the fourth forfeit the club has incurred this season, with two forfeits over breaches of the home grown player rules.
