Calpe House is encouraged by response in first few weeks of ‘Needs Your Help” campaign

The Calpe House Charitable Trust has been hugely touched by the fantastic response to the new “Calpe House Needs Your Help” campaign which was launched at the end of last year. The campaign was launched locally on the charities flag day on 18 December to raise funds towards the refurbishment costs of the Grade II listed buildings which have been purchased at Norfolk Square in London and which house the new Calpe House.

Works on the news buildings bean on Monday 11 of this month confirmed Albert Poggio yesterday. In the first few weeks since its launch the Trust has received very kind offers of support, including businesses offering fundraising initiatives of their own.

In a press statement the Trust said guest speakers had underlined the importance of Calpe House, which has provided accommodation for patients in London on over 5000 visits to the UK over the years.

Once refurbished the properties will provide 38 ensuite rooms and improved facilities, including a large common room, which it is hoped, will provide a much needed focal point for patients and families to socialise.
