Cruise ship passengers tour City Hall

The Mayor, Christian Santos, yesterday hosted the inaugural tour of the City Hall for tourists, welcoming a group of passengers from a visiting cruise ship.

Windstar Cruise added a tour of City Hall to its offering for passengers via local tour operator MH Bland.

Visitors were welcomed at the Mario Finlayson Art Gallery where they could appreciate the works by Gibraltar’s heritage artists.

A tour of the Mayor’s Parlour followed where passengers were offered refreshments and a taste of Gibraltar’s local cuisine in the form of canapes.

Mr Santos hopes to work with more cruise operators in the future to increase the number of tours offered.

The aim is to allow tourists to visit City Hall to appreciate the beautiful historical building and get a taste of Gibraltarian culture.
