Drugs Advisory Council meeting focuses on multiagency approach

The Drugs Advisory Council met recently with relevant departments and agencies in a bid to facilitate communication and share expertise on drugs.

The meeting was chaired by the Minister with responsibility for the control of drugs misuse, Christian Santos.

Representatives from the Ministry of Equality, Care Agency, GHA, Ministry of Education, Public Health, RGP, Youth Service, HM Customs and HM Prison were all invited to attend.

The aim of the Council is to have one multiagency approach on drugs with the relevant departments and agencies engaging to facilitate communication and share expertise.
