A brace by Panayiotou and another goal from Olivero provided Europa Women’s hockey with their first trophy of the season.
Playing against a select team from the league, Europa opened their season in what is an annual event that sees the league champions play the President’s XI.
Europa winning 3-0 in a match which received little publicity from the association.
