The Gibraltar Branch of Cancer Research UK has raised over £5,000 with an abseiling event off the side of Europort building.
People abseiled down Europort building last Saturday, with each participant raising money and paying a £20 registration fee.
Members of the public watched on as one by one people abseiled off the building.
Last year’s abseiling event raised £18,000 and the proceeds were donated to fund research into cancer.
The money donated from this year’s event will be used to research treatments for many different types of cancers.
The abseil was run by volunteers from the Gibraltar Fire and Rescue Service and the Airport Fire and Rescue Service.
