GHA approves limited acupuncture treatment
The Gibraltar Health Authority has formally approved a policy allowing patients to receive acupuncture for lower back pain.
The new treatment, which will be delivered by trained GHA physiotherapists, was established and approved yesterday at a GHA Board Meeting.

“This is a new practice for the GHA and we did not have an established and approved policy. Therefore we very quickly got [working] with physiotherapists and prepared this,” Minister for Health Dr Cortes said.
