Gibraltar basketball heads for Quarter Finals and Semis

Gibraltar’s women’s basketball will face Gotland next after today’s final group match. Having come second in their respective group the women’s team will be playing for a place in the finals against group A’s winners.
Gibraltar this Tuesday faced their first defeat at the hands of Menorca. A 42-80 highlighted the strength behind Menorca who dominated play throughout big parts of the match. Gibraltar had already been aware they would qualify for the next round.
In the meantime Gibraltar will be looking at tomorrow’s quarter finals in the men’s where they play Jersey at 16.15. The men had a rest day having won their two group matches.
