Gibraltar U19 faced 9-0 defeat

Having kept Estonia at bay during the first half of their first Group B match at the Stadium Etno Selo Stanisici in Bijeljina with just a two goal deficit by half time, things were to turn for the worse in the second half on Tuesday.
Gibraltar’s U19 women’s side, with many players who have had little to no experience at international level and presently starting it make their own pathway into the international stage at an official level, were to fell the effects of an Estonia side ready to pile the pressure and goals.
A seven goal flurry with the first goal in the second half coming from a penalty, saw Gibraltar’s U19 end with a 9-0 defeat.
Kelli was to get a brace with Lillemets getting a later brace in the final ten minutes. Gibraltar was to have no attempts at goal, a sharp contrast to Estonia’s 35 attempts, only 19 of them on target.
