Gibraltar Warhammer International Grand Tournament draws in the crowds

More than 80 international players took part in the Gibraltar Warhammer International Grand Tournament held at Grand Battery House.

Boris Michev took the top prize with his Dukhari after winning against Ben Jones with a score of 32 to nil.

Second prize went to Adrien Bonal from France and third prize was handed to Joe Moscardidi from England.

The bext army award went to England's Josh Hall.

The winner received a crystal trophy and free tickets to the next Grand Tournament, among many other prizes.

More than 1,500 people tuned in to watch the final battle on Sunday was livestreamed on by local organiser SN Battle Reports on its Facebook page.

Players from eight different countries took part in the competition on the Rock from Canada, the USA and Russia.

Warhammer 40,000 is a miniature war game created and produced by UK company Games Workshop.

Players enact a battle between opposing forces using miniature figurines of warriors and models.
