Gibraltar will be looking for double gold in tennis on last day

Amanda Carreras will be hoping for a double gold helping tomorrow as she walks into the last day of competition playing in both the women’s singles and doubles finals.
In the singles she today beat Carla Cachit-Sintes from Menorca 6-0,6-0. She will be playing tomorrow at 1030 against TSVETELINA HAVRÉN from Gotland.
In the women’s doubles Carreras and De Haro Sene beat the Jersey duo of FORREST N - HURST E 3-6, 3-6. They will be playing at 13.30 against the Isle of Man Faragher and Feely.
In action tomorrow also for the Plate Semi-finals will be Melanie McLeod vs Millie Coombes at 10.30. In the other semi-final will be Ewa Bielanowicz vs Gemma Pons-Pons.
At 12.00 for the men’s doubles Plate semi-finals Bailey M - Reynolds P will play Gibraltar’s duo of Chipolina L - Valverde J. In the other semi-final Matthews R - Wilmott-Stanton H play Gibraltar’s other pairing of Casciaro D and Jurado D.
In the Mixed Doubles Plate Final the visiting pair of Freeman C - Le Cras N play local pair Valverde J - De Haro-Sene L.
