GSD Leader urges massive referendum turnout

The latest Opinion polls show how important it is for people in Gibraltar to vote at the forthcoming referendum, the GSD said yesterday.

The GSD is calling on its supporters and on Gibraltar generally to turn out next week in massive numbers to vote for Remain.

The Leader of the GSD, Daniel Feetham, said: “By all accounts the polls in the United Kingdom show that the vote will be very close.  In such a situation, the Gibraltar vote can make the difference at this referendum.”

“We are blessed in Gibraltar to enjoy a very good standard of living.  No one in Gibraltar should be left in any doubt about the importance to the Gibraltar way of life that we remain within the EU.”

“This is why Fabian Picardo, Joseph Garcia and I, as leader of the three political parties in Gibraltar, are united calling for people to vote Remain.”

“Gibraltar has never needed you as it needs you next week. Come out and exercise your right to vote.”
