Helping young people stay safe on line

Childline Gibraltar joined in yesterday’s international Internet Safe Day by raising awareness together with the RGP’s School Liaison Team outside the ICC. The theme for the day was “Play Your Part for a Better Internet” and the volunteers gave tips to adults and youngsters about how to stay safe online.

Speaking to the Chronicle, Darryl Britto from Childline Gibraltar said: “We are here to make people aware of the dangers of the internet and how to overcome them, for example, by keeping their password protected. We also show young people how keep safe while using the internet.”
