International Art

Today sees the opening of the 43rd International Art Exhibition. This year the exhibition has seen 141 entries. These were judged yesterday by this year’s adjudicator Royal Academician Emma Stibbon. The winners will be announced this evening at the Gustavo Bacarisas Gallery at the opening of this year’s show. Ms Stibbons is an award winning artist who travels widely with her work including residencies with Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park and Artist Placement in Antarctica. Her work is held in private and public collections including the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Scott Polar Research Institute, Bristol City Museum and Art Gallery and the Stadtmuseum in Berlin.
