Jenssen pushes through to next round in Badminton

After a magnificent earlier round on Wednesday morning Kasper Jenssen went on beat Johannes Gardell from Gotland with two straight sets 21-17, 21-14 to reach the round of 16 where he will meet Jersey’s Mark Constable.
Charles Avellano who beat Andrew Reid 2-0 earlier in the day was to lose was to lose 2-0 against MAthew Rankenhohn from Ynys Mons
Earlier in the day Henry Archer and Daniel Linares we’re knocked out.
A similar fate was seen in the women’s with Alison Jenssen losing 2-1 against Emelie Hanson from Gotland. Amber Prescott was also defeated by Victoria Chater from the Falklands, with Chantal De’Ath losing against Soraye March also from the Falklands.
