Last MidTown building up before DPC tomorrow

Building E, the last building that forms part of the MidTown Development, will be debated during tomorrow’s meeting of the Development and Planning Commission.

Permission is being sought for the proposed residential development including residents’ parking, commercial units on the ground floor, extensive landscaping with improvements to ground level areas under the bridge link, and associated change of use to level three in the building, known as Boston, from commercial to residential use.

Also on the agenda is the proposed refurbishment and redevelopment at 22-24 Town Range, which envisages new residential units, stores and a swimming pool.

Outline planning permission for the proposed refurbishment and redevelopment of Fortress House at 7/9 Cathedral Square to provide an art gallery, children's art centre and restaurant will also be discussed.

A minor amendment application for Europa Business Centre and Old Power Station, Chimney Corner, Dockyard is also on the schedule.

The developer of 6-12 Cannon Lane is also seeking approval for retrospective minor amendments.
