Lincoln Red Imps claim another double as a club

Lincoln Red Imps completed another league and cup double as their Under 16 youth side claimed the U16 Youth Rock Cup.

Gianni Peliza was to score the winning penalty as Tarik Chrayeh’s side beat FCB Magpies 5-4 on penalties to win the U16 Youth Rock Cup.
Goals from Scott Aitken and Kevan Buckley saw Lincoln Red Imps draw 2-2 in normal time with both teams ending the game with 9 men.
The success of the U16s side was to add to a tally of trophies for the club which has completed a league and cup double with their senior team, intermediate league side, and the Under 17s also.
A disputed penalty decision given against Lincoln Red Imps which saw them losing a player to a red card was captured by photographer Brandon Avellano.

The rules stating that a player preventing the ball from going to goal with the hands within the penalty area is liable to receive a direct red card with no specification on intent provided by the regulations.
