Local artists paint Mayor Christian Santos in live session
At the Mayor’s Parlour artists sketched and painted Mayor of Gibraltar Christian Santos during a live portrait session.
The session was organised as part of the ‘No Cuesta d’Enero’ events held by the Fine Arts Association, which sees local art in various forms celebrated.
From live painting to poetry, this week will also see demonstrations and talks from local artists and writers.
All events are free and open to the public, and the Fine Arts Association wants people to become involved and understand local art.
Kitchen Studios have also collaborated with the Association and Kitchen will be hosting an exhibition at the Fine Arts Gallery which opens on Monday, January 23 until Friday, January 27.
The Association has around 50 members and is actively encouraging more to join by either filling out a form at the Fine Arts Gallery, or email email@example.com for more information.
