Mrs Davis attends first Girlguiding Gibraltar Council Meeting

Governor’s wife Lorraine Davis, new president of Girlguiding Gibraltar, yesterday attended her first Council Meeting.

Held at the Convent it was chaired by Commissioner Valerie Makey who recently received an extension to her post as the head of Girlguiding Gibraltar.

At the meeting Mrs Davis, a former girlguide herself, delighted to form part of the movement locally presented an Ambassador’s Badge to Council member Paul Lyons.

Mr Lyons has been a part of the council for the past 14 years and said it was a real honour to have received his badge as a ‘working Ambassador’ for the movement.
