New book deal for Finlayson as ‘Improbable Primate’ goes paperback

Chief Minister Fabian Picardo launched the paperback edition of Professor Clive Finlayson’s book, ‘The Improbable Primate’ this week.

The book is published by Oxford University Press and has been available since March 2014 in hardback, receiving positive reviews from publications such as the Economist and the journal Nature.

Celebrating his birthday yesterday, it was revealed at the launch held at the University of Gibraltar, that Professor Finlayson, director of the Gibraltar Museum, has been contracted to write a further book which will be published in 2017.

The paperback edition of ‘The Improbable Primate’ has been launched locally a week before its launch date internationally next week.
