New stamp collection marks coronation of King Charles III
The Gibraltar Government, in collaboration with the Gibraltar Philatelic Bureau, has released of a new set of stamps commemorating the coronation of King Charles III.
Designed by local graphic artist Stephen Perera, this collection captures the coronation and is presented in chronological order.
The set of six stamps and a miniature sheet follow the coronation ceremony.
The stamps were officially unveiled on Monday at the Royal Gibraltar Post Office by Vijay Daryanani, the caretaker Minister for Postal Services.
“These stamps represent our deep connection with the Royal Family and the Monarch, King Charles, King of Gibraltar,” Mr Daryanani said.
“I would like to thank everyone involved in making this a reality for their hard work.”
