Rising stars join forces in Fiji as NWYC2025 prep

Australia, New Zealand and Singapore have arrived in Fiji ahead of the Rising Stars: Fiji 21/U Tour.
This friendly tournament is part of the teams preparations for the Netball World Youth Cup 2025 (NWYC2025), taking place in Gibraltar from the 19th-28th September 2025.
All four teams have already qualified for the NWYC2025, with Fiji, Australia and New Zealand pre-qualifying due to finishing in the top four at the last NWYC in 2017, and Singapore qualifying through the NWYC2025 Qualifier Asia, held in June 2023.
The countries will go head-to-head in match play from the 19th-23rd August, to foster international connections and prepare players for elite competition.
While in Fiji, athletes will also take part in community engagement and cultural exchanges working alongside each other on community centred activities including engagement with local schools.
