Turnock gets shot put national record

Gibraltar’s Julian Turnock was to grab himself a new U18 boys national record in shot put last month. The youth athlete was competing in Malaga when he recorded a 9.43m throw to give him a Gibraltar national record. With athletics now pushing its field events Turnock’s acheivement is a further boost to the sport as it seeks to develop further into track and field events.
