Two gold medals and more for GNDO at Dance World Cup

The Gibraltar National Team won two Gold medals, one Silver medal and one Bronze medal at the Dance World Cup held in Jersey last week. Dancer and choreographer Yalta Pons also won the top award for the best Duet and Trio of the entire World Cup with the piece ‘Secret’.

The Gold medals were won in Senior Showdance with a Duet/Trio made up of Jerome Celecia, Javan Robertson and Susana Ruiz which was choreographed by Yalta Pons, and in Senior Jazz Solo with a piece by Lauren Montero choreographed by Lilian Montero.

Gibraltar also won a Silver Medal in the Children Street Dance Group section choreographed by Nathan Conroy. There was also a Bronze medal in the Senior Street Dance Solo for Adrian Turner also choreographed by Nathan Conroy.
